Super Sunday: She Said Save Me, Round 4!

Sorry that this is late, yet again. Yesterday was a weird day and a lot of stuff happened, so I just never got a chance to get around to this.

I am here to present to you, the 3rd song from She Said Save Me's new album, 'Today, Tomorrow...Whenever.'

The back story for this song goes something like this: Two aliens are in disguise on earth and meet each other and fall in love. The problem is that they can't be together because of their circumstances (whatever that may be), so they promise to meet each other in the next life.

I love having a personal connection to the artist.

I am going to stop rambling now and just give you the music.

Here is 'Aliens' by She Said Save me.

If you like this song, and want to download it for free and check out some of the other songs while you are at it, check out the Facebook page.

Thank you yet again for your continued support. Please remember to check out our Facebook page to show us just how much you care!

Ciao,

She Said Save Me: Round 3!

Here I am, almost a week late on this post. I am quite sorry. I am not going to write a whole bunch about the song that I got last week, but I certainly hope that you like it.
I'd Hang With You Everyday, as promised, is cheerful. I believe I described it to some of my friends recently by saying, "It's cute in an it's-not-sad-and-depressing kind of way." I am a huge fan. That's probably partially because I find it so easy to relate to.

While we were discussing this song, Joe (the mastermind behind this) said, "that song was on the back burner for a few years, it is kind of quirky but it seems to make people smile." I'm going to have to agree with him on this one, at least on a personal level.

If you are a fan of this song and want to download it, or are just curious about what the other songs sound like, please head on over to Facebook and show your support! (Remember, free downloads!)

Thank you again for all of the support. Keep on checking in. For Saturday, I will be posting the newest from She Said Save Me. Be excited. I hope that everyone else likes it as well as I do (depending on one's taste in music, I suppose). I can't wait to share with everybody!

Until then,
K.

Simple Saturday: She Said Save Me...REVISITED!

You may remember way back in July, for our Canada Day Edition, MrFlawedLogic introduced us to this little known band called She Said Save Me. I quickly fell in love with how easy it was to relate to the songs as well as the unique sound and the two albums (The Emerson EP and The Holly Golightly EP) quickly became two of my most listened to albums in my music library.

Now, three months later, here we are again with a new release! I have had the pleasure of getting to know the head honcho of the operation (Joe Vercillo) through modern social networks and I have been blown away by how down to earth and open he is. I probably shouldn't have been so surprised, but what can I say? I have my doubts about the human condition. He and I have had many in-depth conversations about...well, everything, and it has been great.

In getting to know Joe, I also got the special opportunity to be one of the first to know about and hear the new song. When I asked him if there was anything he wanted me to say about the song, he simply asked me to talk about the other young members of the team.

Mary Cassidy is from the same town as I am and is friends with my of my friends. I believe she is a year younger than I and has this amazing voice. She starts out this new song, and really sets the tone for it. Her harmony is beautiful as well. She is a very talented young women. As well, Christine Fleming has done the cover art for the albums, and she does an amazing job. I love the colours, the lines, the images...I just think it is all great. She is also from the local area around my home. I feel very privileged to have come from a county with so much talent.

That being said, here is the new song.

'If We Fall' is a beautiful song from the new album 'Today, Tomorrow...Whenever' (2011). This is the first of five and the only one that has been released as of right now. I'll bring you the rest as they are sent to me. I love the lyrics to this song. I found them very easy to relate to. The song is simple, yet beautifully composed with the various instruments (cello, guitar, vocals, piano). Definitely one of my favourites.

I hope you like the song too, and if you do, just head on over to She Said Save Me's Facebook to download the song for free, as well as the rest of the songs if you have not yet done so.

Thank you again for the continued support, everyone. And sorry, too for our lack of posts in the last month. Life sometimes gets in the way. If you're new, and impressed with what you see, please head on over to our Facebook Page where you will find links to movie reviews and other posts that are on this blog.

Ciao,
K.
