Truthfully I was saving this one for a number of reasons. One, this album is too good for you, two, I had planned it for next week, seeing as how its going to be the twentieth Toxic Tuesday. Lastly as you will notice you'll have to go through the exact same situation I did, and download every song individually unless you think you can find the album somewhere. So without further ado, the tracklist and links.
SebastiAn - Total
(Right click, save as to download tracks)
I apologize for the horrible download format, so if you have any complaints please direct them to Musicmakesmeplane.blogspot.com, the site from which I blatantly stole this article.
SebastiAn may have turned me back to house music... but this is better than house music. At a whopping twenty two tracks long there is a lot of space to play in this album. A big chunk of the sound is stereotypically retro, where as other songs tread closer to dupstep, and once I thought my ipod had skipped me over to Marilyn Manson. Yeah you read that right the second to last song is one of the angriest songs to grace my ears in too long of a time. Complete with choppy guitar riffs and screaming cut/copy vocals, its amazing, hit the vid below for a taste. Overall this album stretches the boundary of house music, even taking the overall electric genre for a ride around the mosh pit, pick it up and groove away those worries.
Perhaps the greatest tragedy of my adult life (so far), the breaking up of Innerpartysystem. A while back they announced it over email to their fans, and are currently playing their final shows, and I'm going to miss every last one. So to commemoration an amazing band lets take a look at one of their albums.
Follow that link to 32 MB of the best chills you'll ever get. Although just an EP, "Never Be Content" can hold its own against all this so called "electro" being released to you sheep these days. Combining dancehall beats with something sorely missing from electro these days, lyrics, sometimes with meaning! Patrick Nissley, the vocalist has one of the smoothest voices ever to grace a wall of synths and programmed beats. Once you hear this album you'll understand why no band should ever torture its fans with a breakup.
"I forgot what it feels like, without you on my mind..."
Hope you enjoy the music today, as the music today is what I was saving for the big 20, but you know how it is when you want to share something but have to wait. Big ups to musicmakesmeplane for the tracks, so please go check them out and follow the blog. Also I'm still going to jam my FB page down your throats cause none of you guys have gone to make me happy. So grab the albums, support the artists, and remember where you got it from! (the music not the herpes)
